A delegation led by Jan Vymazal, vice president of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, visited JNU on Nov. 18. The two sides had an in-depth discussion on cooperation, including teacher-student exchange and joint training for dual degrees, and confirmed details of the exchange of graduate students. They signed and exchanged a memorandum of cooperation.
Vice President Hong An gave a basic introduction to JNU. Given that both sides have been keeping cooperation with amity, he said, I do hope that this visit can, with the signing of the memorandum of cooperation as the breakthrough, forge a more detailed cooperation on teacher-student exchanges and joint training programs on the basis of the existing cooperation programs and deepen the prospect for cooperation in terms of teaching and scientific research.
Hong said the Czech Republic is an important country along the Belt and Road. Founded in 1776, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, the largest university in this country, is a founding member of the Euroleague for Life Sciences and a leading research base in life sciences in Europe.
